 Welcome to the Danville Conservation Club web site. We are a family and community oriented organization which promotes the enjoyment and participation in outdoor recreation and shooting sports. We are keenly aware of our responsibility to the preservation of our natural resouces, conservation practices, the safe and proper use of firearms, and the protection of the Second Amendment. The actions and inactions of today will shape our children's future, our environment, and our freedoms.
The Club is centrally and conveniently located in Danville (Hendricks County), Indiana on a beautifully wooded site. Members enjoy a shooting range and an archery field as well as a stocked fishing lake. This year we will begin to offer firearms safety courses for youth and adults taught by NRA Certified Instructors, and we are excited to have received a grant from The NRA Foundation for a youth shooting program. Details about the training programs will be added to the site as the plans are finalized.
