Membership in the Danville Conservation Club runs from January 1 to December 31. At the bottom of this page you will find links to .pdf membership forms. Please contact us with any questions at info@dccsafety.com. Membership dues are $100 per year ($50 for age 70 and older) plus a $50 initiation fee.
New members joining after August 1st will be charged $50 for dues ($25 over age 70) plus the initiation fee. After November 1st, the full fee applies and dues are considered "paid" for the following year.
Membership benefits include use of the shooting range, archery field, discounted clubhouse rental, as well as fishing privileges on the private lake. Please read over the "Range Rules" before applying for membership. Hanguns, rifles (no full-auto, 50 BMG, or similar guns), muzzleloaders, and shotguns are wecome for target practice at our range. SLOW FIRE ONLY is allowed at DCC. We do not have skeet or trap shooting due to the proximity of our neighbors.
Please Note: The board of directors has decided that all new membership applications must be presented in person at one of the monthly meetings. Our monthly club meeting is held the second Wednesday of each month, starting at 6:30pm, during which we vote on new memberships. Futhermore, all members who use the range must attend an range safety and etiquette class.
The class occurs after our monthly meetings and will run from about 8:00-8:30pm. Other times are by appointment only with a DCC RSO.
Membership cards will be issued at the safety classes, and must be worn at all times while using the range. If you desire a membership without range privileges, please indicate on the form and we will issue you a distinct membership card (fishing privileges only).
