1. ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in a safe direction. |

2. ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot. |
|
3. ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use. |
|
When using or storing a gun, always follow these rules: |
|
- Know your target and what is beyond. Think first. Shoot second. |
|
- Know how to use the gun safely. |
|
- Be sure the gun is safe to operate. |
|
- Use only the correct ammunition for your gun. |
|
- Wear eye and ear protection as appropriate. |
|
- Never use alcohol or over-the-counter, prescription or other drugs before or while
shooting. |
|
- Store guns so they are not accessible to unauthorized persons. |
|
- Be aware that certain types of guns and many shooting activities require additional safety
precautions. |
|
- Before cleaning your gun, make absolutely sure that it is unloaded. The gun's action should
be open during the cleaning process. Be sure that no ammunition is present in the cleaning area. |

NO RAPID FIRE! (Faster than one shot every 3 seconds is not allowed.) |

Slow Fire ONLY! (One shot every 3 seconds is as fast as guns can be fired on this range
regardless of make and model.) |

Slow Fire ONLY! Violation carries a $50 fine. Second offense is expulsion from the
Club. |

No armor piercing, steel core, tracer, or incendiary projectiles allowed. |
| 5. |
All projectiles must be fired in such a manner that they go into the backstop directly
behind the target at which they are shot. |
| 6. |
No Full-Auto Guns Allowed. |
| 7. |
SEMI-AUTOMATIC FIREARMS ARE ALLOWED. Refer to rules #1 and #2. |
| 8. |
Revolvers, Pistols, Shotguns, Muzzleloaders, and Rifles are allowed on this
range. |
| 9. |
NO ALCOHOL or intoxicating substances are permitted on the Club premises or
Range. |
| 10. |
No shooting when cars are known to be traveling on the Club driveway. |
| 11. |
No cross-firing (shooting from one lane to another). |
| 12. |
Please use the shooting bench/station directly in front of your target. |
| 13. |
Please use the two shooting benches on the left for the 50yd. and 100yd.
backstops. |
| 14. |
Ear and eye protection must be worn by all shooters and spectators. |
| 15. |
Only paper targets are allowed. (Silhouette practice excepted, see rule
#18.) |
| 16. |
Targets must be secured to a target holder no larger than 30” x 30”. |
| 17. |
Targets must be placed directly in front of the backstop as low as possible. |
| 18. |
Only actual silhouette animals or steel “swinger” targets specifically designed for .22
caliber rimfire cartridges are allowed, with the following stipulations:
- ONLY .22 Short, .22 Long, .22 Long Rifle rimfire ammunition is allowed.
- ONLY Standard Velocity ammunition is allowed. No High- or Hyper-Velocity rounds may be used while
shooting steel targets.
- Targets must be placed within a steel backstop measuring at least 24” x 24” with a minimum thickness of
3/16” and angled no more than 45° from the ground.
- Steel targets and backstops may ONLY be used at the appropriate silhouette backstop locations, 40m, 60m,
77m, and 100m.
- Eye Protection is MANDATORY.

Use of Range restricted to Members with current Membership Card, their spouse, minor
children, and guest if accompanied by Club Member. |

Guest Shooter fee is $5.00 Per Day. Write name and date on the envelope provided and
deposit fees into the mail slot in the storage shed next to the archery field. |

Guest Shooter must be accompanied by a Member. |
| 22. |
Before using range… Member and Guest must sign in and provide Name, Date, firearm(s) and
caliber(s) being fired. |

Club Members using the range must show current Membership Card upon request. |
| 24. |
Violation of these RULES will result in revocation of Membership Card. |
| 25. |
The Board of Directors must approve IN ADVANCE any use of the range other than allowed by
these rules. |
